The garment finisher used to finish a number of garments together is the tunnel finisher.
In a tunnel finisher the garments hang on hangers and travel on a conveyor through a chamber of steam and hot air, so many garments are steamed and dried in one continuous operation. A form press, a buck press and a die press are pressing machines that handle one garment, or one part of it, at a time. That is why a tunnel finisher is suited to a factory finishing many garments of the same kind, such as shirts or uniforms, while the pressing machines of the other options serve an individual piece.
