AKASHGANGA was established for automating milk collection.

Akashganga is the NDDB's automatic milk collection system for village dairy cooperative societies. It weighs each farmer's milk electronically, tests its fat content and computes and records the payment on the spot, making collection quick and transparent.

It is not a scheme for dairy cattle management, goat-keeping or sheep rearing.
