Answers you can actually learn from

A question with only a letter beside it teaches you very little. Nearly every question here carries a written explanation of why the answer is right - the working for a calculation, the reasoning behind an arrangement, the rule behind a grammar choice. We are part-way through a review of the whole bank, question by question, checking every answer key against the source and rewriting explanations that were thin or missing.

We would rather be corrected than be wrong. Every question carries a Report link, and reports are read.

How the material is organised

Questions are filed by subject and topic - so you can work through one idea at a time - and also grouped by examination, so you can practise only what a particular paper actually asks. Each question is tagged with a difficulty level, and many sit under a shared set of directions, exactly as they would in a real paper.

Practice under exam conditions

Reading questions is not the same as sitting a paper. The online test section gives you a timed, marked paper - twenty questions in thirty minutes, one mark each, no negative marking - and you can also build a test of your own by choosing the subject, the topics and how many questions you want, from ten up to a hundred and twenty.

Beyond the question bank

• Interview questions - subject-wise questions with model answers, for job interviews and campus placements.
• Job information - notifications, eligibility, important dates and selection processes, gathered in one place. Always confirm the detail against the official advertisement before you apply.
• Discussion - every question has its own thread, so if an explanation has not landed, you can ask.

Who it is for

Candidates for banking and government recruitment, entrance and aptitude tests, and engineering and computing subjects - and anyone brushing up before an interview. If you are revising on a phone between other things, the site is built to work there too.
