Virtue attached to Erikson's fourth stage Industry Vs. Inferiority :
Answer: C
The virtue of Erikson's fourth stage, industry versus inferiority, is competence.
During the school years, roughly 6 to 12, children learn skills and take pride in completing tasks. Success builds a sense of industry and the virtue of competence; repeated failure produces feelings of inferiority.
Hope is the virtue of the first stage (trust versus mistrust), love of the sixth (intimacy versus isolation), and wisdom of the eighth (integrity versus despair).
