A watch loses 10 minutes every hour. If watch was set right at 7 AM on a Sunday, then, when it will show the correct time again ?
Answer: B
It will show the correct time again at 7:00 AM on next Wednesday.
A 12-hour watch shows the correct time again when it has lost exactly 12 hours, that is 720 minutes. It loses 10 minutes in every real hour.
\[ \frac{720}{10} = 72 \text{ hours} = 3 \text{ days} \]
Three days after 7 AM on Sunday is 7 AM on Wednesday. 7 PM on Tuesday is only 60 hours later, when the watch has lost 10 hours, and Friday counts 5 days.
