Kyasanur Forest Disease, Indian tick typhus and Rocky Mountain spotted fever are all transmitted by ticks. Endemic typhus, also called murine typhus, is transmitted by the rat flea, and so it is the exception. The answer is endemic typhus. Ticks also carry relapsing fever and tularaemia, while fleas and lice carry the typhus group diseases and mites carry scrub typhus.
