Sustainable Development is a process of change it means :
(1) Direction of investments
(2) Orientation of technological development
(3) Exploitation of resources
(4) Study of nature
Codes :
Answer: C
The process of change involves (1), (2) and (3).
The Brundtland Report, Our Common Future (1987), described sustainable development as a process of change in which the exploitation of resources, the direction of investments, the orientation of technological development and institutional change are made consistent with future as well as present needs.
Direction of investments, orientation of technological development and exploitation of resources are all in that description. The 'study of nature' is not, so the option with all four is wrong, and the two-item options leave out elements that are in it.
