World Population Day is observed on
Answer: D
World Population Day is observed on 11th July.
The day was established by the Governing Council of the United Nations Development Programme in 1989. It grew out of the interest in the 'Day of Five Billion', 11 July 1987, the approximate date on which the world's population reached five billion.
The other dates do not mark it. 15 October is the International Day of Rural Women, 14 June is World Blood Donor Day, and 11 November is observed in India as National Education Day, the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad.
