The term NDRF stands for :
Answer: A
NDRF stands for the National Disaster Response Force.
The NDRF was constituted under section 44 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, and raised in 2006 from battalions of the central armed police forces. It is a specialised force for disaster response, used in floods, cyclones, building collapses and chemical or nuclear emergencies.
'Relief' is the near miss: the force's statutory name stresses response, specialist rescue at the scene, rather than relief distribution. National Defence Reserve Force and National Defence Revolution Force are invented names.
