Which contribution does latent heat release make to the vertical motion?
Answer: C
Condensational heating within the ascending air offsets the adiabatic cooling, so the effective stability of the saturated ascent is much lower and the same forcing produces a stronger vertical motion. This feedback typically doubles the ascent in the warm conveyor belt. It is represented in the omega equation by adding a diabatic term, and it is one reason moist models forecast deeper cyclones than dry ones. Naming the cost of a choice alongside its benefit is what turns a fact into a design decision.
