Which condition does a positive long term trim indicate?
Answer: B
A positive trim means fuel is being added, so something is making the mixture lean: a leak, low pressure or an under reading sensor. A leaking injector produces a negative trim, which makes the last option describe the opposite condition. Working the distinction through on a single concrete case fixes it more firmly than any rule of thumb. Tracing the requirement back to the physical constraint that produces it makes the answer follow. A limit that survives making every external component ideal is an intrinsic one, and worth knowing for that reason.
