Which was not the early English history play in the following list ?
Answer: C
The play that is not a history play is Ralph Roister Doister.
Nicholas Udall's Ralph Roister Doister (about 1552) is generally called the first regular English comedy. Modelled on the Roman comedies of Plautus and Terence, it tells of a boastful fool who woos a rich widow, and has nothing to do with English history.
The Famous Victories of Henry the Fifth and The True Chronicle History of King Leir are early chronicle plays of the 1580s and 1590s on which Shakespeare drew for Henry IV, Henry V and King Lear. A play on King Henry III would also take English history as its subject.
