The relaxation of military tensions in the Cold War was called detente. It was a trend towards easing of strains between the super powers, the US and the USSR, in the 1970s, marked by arms control talks such as SALT.
Entente is an older term for a friendly understanding between powers, the military-industrial complex was not closed, and a flow of military technology continued, so those options are wrong.
