Which of these does thin airfoil theory NOT require?
Answer: A
Correct answer: That the flow be turbulent over the surface
Thin airfoil theory is inviscid, so it contains no boundary layer at all and cannot require it to be laminar or turbulent. What it does assume is a thin section, a small angle of attack, and inviscid incompressible flow - and the Kutta condition at the trailing edge, which is what fixes the circulation and makes the theory give a definite answer.
