Bhangra is not.
It is the harvest folk dance of Punjab. The eight classical forms recognised by the Sangeet Natak Akademi are Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Kathakali, Kuchipudi, Manipuri, Mohiniyattam, Odissi and Sattriya.
