Gilt-edged market means
Answer: B
The gilt-edged market is the market for government securities.
The name comes from the gilded edges of the certificates the British government once issued, and reflects the security's freedom from default risk. In India it is the largest segment of the debt market, and the RBI manages it as the government's debt manager.
