Who started Arya Samaj ?
Answer: D
It was Swami Dayananda Saraswati.
He founded the Arya Samaj at Bombay in 1875 on the authority of the Vedas alone, rejecting idol worship, pilgrimage and hereditary caste, and introduced shuddhi for reconversion. His Satyarth Prakash sets out the doctrine.
