The measurement of the intensity of the scattered light as a function of the concentration of the dispersed phase form is the principle of :
Answer: C
This is the principle of nephelometry.
When light passes through a suspension, part of it is scattered by the particles. Nephelometry measures the intensity of the scattered light, usually at 90° to the beam, and relates it to the concentration of the dispersed phase. It is the more sensitive choice for dilute suspensions.
Turbidimetry measures the decrease in the intensity of the transmitted beam, not the scattered light. Colorimetry measures absorption by coloured solutions, and phosphorimetry measures delayed emission from excited triplet states.
