Answer: D
Questioning is used for arousing curiosity in classroom.
In EVS, good questions such as 'Why do some plants grow in water?' or 'Where does the water in our tap come from?' make children wonder, think and investigate. Questioning drives inquiry, the core of EVS teaching and learning.
Using questions to maintain discipline, to draw attention or to promote adherence to rules treats them as tools of classroom control. Questions can incidentally draw attention, but their purpose as a teaching strategy is to stimulate curiosity and thinking.
