Discussion
"Communication is the transference and understanding of meaning." Who gave this definition ?
Answer: A
The definition is from Robbins.
Stephen P. Robbins, in his textbook on organisational behaviour (with Timothy Judge), defines communication as the transference and understanding of meaning, stressing that a message counts as communicated only when it is both conveyed and understood.
Frederick Taylor is known for scientific management and Douglas McGregor for Theory X and Theory Y. The definition is not attributed to Stewart, Taylor or McGregor.
