Which of the following is 'Academic Learning time' in physical education class ?
Answer: C
Academic Learning Time is Student practicing the skill.
Academic Learning Time in Physical Education (ALT-PE), developed by Daryl Siedentop and colleagues, is the time students spend actively engaged in lesson content at an appropriate level of success. It is the best single measure of how much they actually learn in a lesson.
Roll call, organising teams and waiting in line are management or waiting time. They take up class time but involve no practice of the content, so they reduce ALT-PE.
