DIRECTIONS: In the following question four words are given. . Find the correctly spelt word.
Answer: C
The correctly spelt word is Millennium.
Millennium, a period of a thousand years, comes from Latin mille (thousand) and annus (year). It therefore has a double l from mille and a double n from annus: mi-ll-e-nn-ium.
Milennium drops one l, Millenium drops one n (the most common misspelling), and Millenniam changes the ending -ium to -iam.
