In 2025 the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports turned it into a three-day nationwide celebration under the Fit India movement, from 29 to 31 August, with the theme 'Ek Ghanta, Khel ke Maidan Mein' (one hour on the playground), asking every citizen to spend at least an hour a day in physical activity.
