Where are the contents of your computer's hard drive indexed?
Answer: D
None of the above - the contents of your hard drive are indexed by the operating system, on your own machine.
Windows Search, Spotlight and similar tools build a local index. Yahoo, Google and MSN index the public web and can see nothing on a private computer.
