A research paper reports a study or reviews and assesses other research, and it normally goes through peer review before it is published.
A compilation of information on a topic is a general review or report, not a research paper. Original research as deemed by the author alone is not enough without review. Publishing the same paper in several journals is duplicate publication, which is unethical.
