The advisory opinion of ICJ may be sought by whom ?
Answer: B
Advisory opinions may be sought by the General Assembly, the Security Council, other UN organs and specialised agencies if authorised by the General Assembly.
Under Article 96 of the UN Charter, the General Assembly and the Security Council may request an advisory opinion on any legal question. Other organs of the UN and specialised agencies may do so, on legal questions within their activities, if the General Assembly authorises them. States cannot request advisory opinions.
So the right is not limited to the two principal organs, to the specialised agencies alone, or to the Security Council and agencies.
