Consider the following pairs of network and typical use.
Controller area network - powertrain and chassis
Local interconnect network - mirrors and seats
Media oriented systems transport - audio and video
FlexRay - entertainment streaming
How many of the pairs given above are correctly matched?
Answer: B
FlexRay was developed for time triggered safety critical control such as chassis systems, not for entertainment. The other three pairings are correct. Naming the cost of a choice alongside its benefit is what turns a fact into a design decision. The shared behaviour explains why these belong together and the differences explain why both exist. Tracing the requirement back to the physical constraint that produces it makes the answer follow.
