Eligibility Criteria
- Age: 18 to 27 years on the closing date. DDA staff may apply up to 40 under the central rules, and reserved categories get the standard relaxations.
- Education: 10th pass from a recognised board or institute, or a pass from a recognised Industrial Training Institute.
Selection Process
The merit list is the CBT score. Minimum marks are 40% for UR, 35% for OBC (NCL) and EWS, 30% for SC and ST, with DDA free to lower them for PwBD and ex-servicemen. Where a test runs in several shifts the scores are normalised. After that comes document verification, and the older candidate wins a tie.
Salary
Level 1 of the 7th Pay Commission matrix: entry basic pay of ₹18,000 a month plus central allowances.
How to Apply
The 2025 fee was ₹2,500 for UR, OBC (NCL) and EWS candidates and ₹1,500 for women, SC, ST, PwBD, ex-servicemen and transgender candidates. Payment was online only, through the SBI gateway. The ₹1,500 fee is refunded, minus bank charges, to those who actually sat the exam. Anyone applying for two posts pays twice.
Applications go through the Jobs section of dda.gov.in, and the link stays live only for the window in the advertisement. You need a personal email address and mobile number that stay active for the whole process, because DDA sends the e-application status, admit card and document verification calls only to those.

Result
The 2 April 2026 list shows roll number, category and CBT score. Given the size of the post, the list is long, running to several hundred names, and DDA brought absentees back for a second verification in June. Check the DDA Latest Jobs page for any waitlist notice.
Cut Off
DDA has not issued a cut-off notice for MTS. The score of the last selected candidate in each category on the select list is the working cut-off.
Preparation Tips
This is a class 10 paper, and the sections are equal at 25 questions, so there is no room to skip one. Practise reasoning and arithmetic against the clock, read the English comprehension passage first, and learn basic Office shortcuts for the 20 computer questions. Do not guess blindly, as each wrong answer costs a third of a mark.
