DSSSB Stenographer Exam Pattern, Eligibility
152 topics across 5 subjects. Every question carries a written explanation.
DSSSB fills stenographer posts for many Delhi government bodies, under different names: Stenographer, Stenographer Grade-II, Junior Stenographer, Stenographer Grade 'D' in MCD, and the senior Stenographer Grade-I. Most of them are Group C at Pay Level 4 and need Class 12 plus shorthand at 80 words per minute.
Three rounds are in progress in 2026:

Preparation Tips
The written cut-offs are high, but they only buy you a seat at the skill test. Build shorthand speed above the 80 wpm requirement so you have margin, and practise transcribing on a computer. The combined-exam paper has a 25-mark computer section (internet, social media, office software) that is easy to overlook; prepare it.
