Rajasthan CET Graduates Syllabus, Exam Pattern, Eligibility
152 topics across 5 subjects. Every question carries a written explanation.
The Common Eligibility Test (Graduation Level) is a qualifying exam run by the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board under the Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Service (CET) Rules, 2022. On its own it gets you no job. A valid CET score is what lets you apply for the separate main exams for twelve graduate-level posts, from Patwari and Junior Accountant to Gram Vikas Adhikari and Sub-Jailer.
The 2026 test was notified as Advt. 09/2026 on 1 July 2026. Applications ran from 4 July to 2 August 2026. The paper was first set for December, then moved because of the October 2026 local body and panchayat elections, and is now planned for 16 to 18 January 2027.
A score now stays valid for three years from the result. The 2024 score was valid for one year and lapsed on 11 February 2026, so 2024 candidates have had to apply again.

Admit Card
Admit cards are issued online only, through SSO login and the Recruitment Portal. The Board announces the release in newspapers and on its website; nothing is posted. Keep your application number and SSO ID handy.
Result
The Board publishes every candidate's marks on SSO and a list of qualified candidates on its Results page (filter "Common Eligibility Test(Graduation Level)"). There's no limit on attempts, and when you apply for a main exam your best valid score counts.
Preparation Tips
- The syllabus is close to the main exams for most of the twelve posts, so CET preparation carries straight over.
- Rajasthan GK runs through history, geography, polity and economy. It's the biggest single block.
- A third of a mark goes for each wrong answer, and blanks cost the same. Use option E deliberately.
- Clearing 40% isn't the goal. Main exams shortlist on the CET score, so aim high.
- Practise on the Board's master papers from the 2022 and 2024 tests.
