Rajasthan Police Constable Exam Pattern, Eligibility
106 topics across 3 subjects. Every question carries a written explanation.
Rajasthan Police recruits its own constables. The Police Headquarters in Jaipur, through its Recruitment and Promotion Board, notifies Constable (General), Constable (Driver) and Constable (Band) posts district by district and for the RAC and MBC battalions, under the Rajasthan Police Subordinate Service Rules, 1989. Since 2024 you can apply only if you've qualified the state's CET (Senior Secondary level).
Constable Recruitment 2025 was notified on 9 April 2025 with 8,148 posts, raised by 383 in May; with the Police Telecommunication constables the July 2025 press note put the written test at 10,000 posts. The written test was held on 13 and 14 September 2025, the final result came on 16 December 2025 and appointment orders went out in January 2026.

Preparation Tips
- Part A is the largest at 60 marks: reasoning, arithmetic and computer basics.
- A wrong answer costs a quarter mark, so guess only when you can rule something out.
- NCC, Home Guard service and a police-related diploma add up to 20 marks for General posts. Get the certificates in order before you apply.
- Train for the 5 km run early. It's one attempt, and the written result leaves little time.
