Junior assistant (kanishtha sahayak) posts are filled under Advertisement No. 12-Exam/2024, on PET-2023 scores. The main written exam was held on 1 February 2026. The cycle is now at the typing test, which the Commission has moved more than once.
A separate junior assistant recruitment of the earlier 09-Exam/2022 cycle, on PET-2021, reached its final result stage in September 2026, with hearings for provisionally selected candidates on 17 October 2026.

UPSSSC Junior Assistant Details
Exam Pattern
The typing test is in Hindi and is taken on either the Mangal font (Inscript keyboard) or the Kritidev-010 font. No other font is accepted. Everyone who qualified in the main exam on score is called.
Selection Process
Written main exam, then the typing test. The Commission calls candidates to the typing test on their main exam score, and the final list follows it. Interviews are not held for these posts.
