Wipro Syllabus, Exam Pattern, Eligibility, Important Dates
129 topics across 4 subjects. Every question carries a written explanation.
Wipro Limited does not run a single campus test. It runs several named early-career programmes, each aimed at a different degree or a different tier of institution, and it publishes the programmes rather than the tests.
As at 12 September 2026 the programmes on Wipro's Early Careers page are Elite, Turbo, STAR, the Work Integrated Learning Program (which runs as WASE and WIMS), the School of Infrastructure Management, the B School Program, CA Hiring and the Law School Program.
One of them publishes its process in full: WILP, whose application site Wipro hosts and links from Early Careers. Every figure below about a test, an assessment or a stipend comes from there. For Elite, Turbo, STAR and the B School Program, Wipro publishes a description and nothing more.
WILP is a degree as well as a job. A BCA or B.Sc graduate joins as a Scholar Trainee, works full-time, and reads for a fully sponsored M.Tech from a premier university at the same time. Wipro says it pioneered the model in 1995.
It is also a five-year decision. A training agreement for 60 months is signed on joining, and leaving early is not free: you will be liable to pay a sum of INR 75,000 on pro rata basis if you leave the organisation before 5 years of the training agreement are up.
Wipro's own scale, from the same page: 230,000 employees globally, 143 nationalities, presence in 65 countries, and 36.6 per cent of employees identifying as female.

Wipro Details
Exam Pattern
Wipro publishes an assessment pattern for exactly one programme.
WILP: the assessment, as Wipro describes it
| Stage | Duration | What it tests |
|---|---|---|
| Online assessment | 80 minutes | Verbal, analytical, quantitative and written communication skills |
| Voice assessment | 20 minutes | Spoken communication, for candidates who clear the online assessment |
| Business discussion | Not published | A discussion round with the Wipro team |
Two features of that are unusual. Written communication is one of the four things tested inside the 80 minutes, which means producing prose against the clock alongside the aptitude sections. And the 20-minute voice assessment is a separate gate with its own stage in Wipro's sequence, sat after the written one.
What Wipro does not publish
For WILP: no question counts, no section-wise timings, no marks, no negative marking rule and no cut-off.
For Elite, Turbo, STAR, SIM, the B School Program, CA Hiring and the Law School Program: no assessment pattern at all. The Early Careers page describes what each programme offers and which institutions it recruits from, and stops there.
Any Wipro Elite or Wipro NTH test pattern giving section names, question counts and timings did not come from Wipro. It was reconstructed by candidates or preparation sites, it carries no date, and Wipro renames and restructures its programmes often enough that such material ages fast. When a cycle opens, the drive's own application site is where a published pattern will be.
Syllabus
Wipro publishes no syllabus for any of its early-career programmes. For WILP it publishes the list of skills the online assessment covers, and that list is the whole of it.
| Skill area, in Wipro's words | What it plainly means |
|---|---|
| Verbal | English comprehension and usage at graduate level |
| Analytical | Logical and analytical reasoning |
| Quantitative | Numerical aptitude |
| Written communication | Producing written English under time, assessed as a skill in its own right rather than through multiple-choice grammar |
Eighty minutes across those four. Wipro gives no split between them and no topic list for any.
One eligibility rule that behaves like a syllabus requirement
WILP requires that a candidate must have had Core Mathematics as one of the subjects in graduation, and is explicit that Business Maths or Applied Maths will not be considered. That is the closest Wipro comes to naming the level its quantitative section assumes.
These are graduate aptitude assessments for entry-level roles, not qualifying exams against a curriculum, so there is no revision list to work through. The substitute is general aptitude practice at the pace an 80-minute four-skill assessment implies, plus practice at writing clear English quickly and speaking it for twenty minutes.
Eligibility Criteria
Wipro publishes a full eligibility list for the Work Integrated Learning Program, and a one-line description of who each other programme recruits.
WILP, in full
| Condition | Wipro's rule |
|---|---|
| Schooling | Must have completed 10th and 12th standards |
| Degree | Full-time BCA or B.Sc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Electronics or Physics |
| Marks | 60 per cent or 6.0 CGPA in graduation |
| Year of graduation | Named per cycle. The published cycle names 2025 |
| Mode of study | No part-time, correspondence or distance learning degrees. Open school or distance education is allowed for 10th and 12th standards only |
| Backlogs | One backlog is allowed till the assessment stage, to be cleared along with the 6th semester |
| Gaps before graduation | A maximum gap of 3 years between the 10th standard and the start of graduation |
| Gaps during graduation | None. Graduation must be completed within 3 years from the start of the course |
| Mathematics | Must have had Core Mathematics as one of the subjects in graduation. Business Maths or Applied Maths will not be considered |
| Citizenship | Indian citizen, or a PIO or OCI card holder if holding a foreign passport. Bhutan and Nepal citizens must submit a citizenship certificate |
| Recent Wipro applicants | Those who have participated in any of Wipro's selection processes in the last 3 months are not eligible |
Two of those catch people out. No gap at all is permitted during graduation, which rules out anyone who took an extra year, and a Wipro process attended in the previous three months disqualifies a candidate, so applying to two Wipro routes in quick succession can cost the second. Wipro also reserves a discretion in plain terms: it will solely be at the discretion of Wipro to permit or restrict the participation of any candidate, whether eligible or not.
The other programmes, as Wipro describes them
| Programme | Who it recruits | What Wipro says about it |
|---|---|---|
| Elite | Engineering graduates, nationally | Wipro's Technical Graduate Hiring Program, the broadest of the technical routes |
| Turbo | Engineering students at 46 premier institutes, including IIITs, NITs and select top private colleges | A technical hiring programme for top engineering talent, with exposure to niche technologies and access to learning and certification programmes |
| STAR | Students at India's top 13 technical institutes | Fast-tracked, with accelerated access to global client projects and fully sponsored higher education |
| WILP, the Work Integrated Learning Program | BCA and B.Sc graduates | Work full-time while pursuing a fully sponsored M.Tech. Runs as WASE and WIMS |
| SIM, the School of Infrastructure Management | Diploma holders | Earn a B.Tech in Information Systems from an Institute of Eminence while working full-time |
| B School Program | Two-year full-time MBA students from top business schools | Launched in the 1980s. Roles in Strategy, Finance, Consulting and Human Resources |
| CA Hiring | Newly qualified Chartered Accountants | A two-year Corporate Finance cohort with two rotational stints, hired through ICAI campus placements |
| Law School Program | Students of National Law Universities and other law schools | Corporate law, compliance and legal risk, run by Wipro's General Counsel Office |
For those, Wipro publishes no percentage, no backlog rule, no gap ceiling and no age limit.
Selection Process
Wipro publishes a complete selection sequence for the Work Integrated Learning Program, and none for its other early-career programmes.
WILP, step by step
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1. Registration | Fill the registration form on Wipro's WILP application site |
| 2. Online assessment | An 80-minute online assessment that will test your verbal, analytical, quantitative and written communication skills. Only eligible candidates are invited |
| 3. Voice assessment | A 20-minute voice assessment, for candidates who clear the online assessment |
| 4. Business discussion | A discussion round with the Wipro team |
| 5. Letter of Intent | Issued to candidates who clear the business discussion |
| 6. Pre-skilling training | An in-depth learning journey before the job role begins |
| 7. Offer letter | Sent by the recruitment team, to be accepted |
Two assessments come before any human conversation, one written and one spoken. Then a discussion, then a Letter of Intent rather than an offer, then training, and only then the offer letter. A candidate is several months in before anything is guaranteed.
What happens after the offer
| Item | Wipro's terms |
|---|---|
| Designation | Scholar Trainee |
| The degree | A fully sponsored M.Tech from a premier institution, read while working full-time |
| Training agreement | 60 months, signed on joining |
| Exit cost | INR 75,000 on a pro rata basis for leaving before the five years are up |
For the other programmes
Wipro does not publish their selection stages. The one process detail it gives is for CA Hiring, where hiring is conducted through Campus Placements organized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, so that route runs through ICAI rather than Wipro's own portal. For the rest, the application site for the drive is the only authoritative description.
Fraud, in Wipro's own words
If you encounter any suspicious mail, advertisements, or persons who offer jobs at Wipro, please email us at helpdesk.recruitment@wipro.com. Wipro adds that the address is not monitored for resumes and career applications. Complaints about unethical or unfair hiring practices go to its Ombuds Group.
Salary
Wipro publishes a stipend schedule for the Work Integrated Learning Program and nothing for its other early-career programmes.
| Year | Monthly stipend | Plus |
|---|---|---|
| 1st year | INR 15,000 plus 488 (ESI) | A joining bonus of Rs 75,000, paid with the first month's stipend |
| 2nd year | INR 17,000 plus 533 (ESI) | |
| 3rd year | INR 19,000 plus 618 (ESI) | |
| 4th year | INR 23,000 |
The designation throughout is Scholar Trainee, and the M.Tech is fully sponsored alongside. Read the package as stipend plus a paid-for postgraduate degree, not as a salary.
The cost attached: a training agreement for 60 months signed on joining, and liability to pay INR 75,000 on a pro rata basis for leaving before five years. That is the same figure as the joining bonus.
What is not published
No salary, stipend, CTC or bond figure appears anywhere on Wipro's pages for Elite, Turbo, STAR, SIM, the B School Program, CA Hiring or the Law School Program. Package figures attached to those names elsewhere did not come from Wipro. Two non-monetary benefits Wipro does publish: STAR carries fully sponsored higher education, and SIM lets a diploma holder earn a B.Tech in Information Systems from a university recognised as an Institute of Eminence while working full-time.
How to Apply
There is no common Wipro application form. Each programme has its own route, and Wipro links them from the Early Careers page.
WILP
Register for Wipro's Work Integrated Learning Program by filling up a simple form at app.joinsuperset.com/company/wipro/wilp, hosted for Wipro on Superset. Eligible candidates are then invited to the 80-minute online assessment. Read that site before registering: the ban on gaps during graduation and the three-month bar on recent Wipro candidates disqualify people who would otherwise apply.
Everything else
| Programme | How to reach it |
|---|---|
| Elite, Turbo, STAR | Through the institution when Wipro runs the drive there, and through the application site Wipro links from Early Careers for that cycle |
| CA Hiring | Through campus placements organised by ICAI, not through Wipro directly |
| B School Program, Law School Program | Through the business school or law school Wipro recruits from |
| Any other role | Wipro's job search |
Fee
None. Wipro publishes no application fee for any early-career programme. A demand for money in connection with a Wipro job is not from Wipro, and goes to helpdesk.recruitment@wipro.com, an address Wipro states is not monitored for resumes and career applications. Complaints about unethical or unfair hiring practices go to ombuds.person@wipro.com.
Wipro states that reasonable accommodation will be provided to all applicants including persons with disabilities, throughout the recruitment and selection process, communicated in advance of the application where possible.
Participating Institutes
The employer
Wipro Limited, hiring into its own workforce. There is no commission and no external examining body: Wipro sets the eligibility, runs the assessment and makes the offer. Its careers site is careers.wipro.com.
Wipro's own figures: 230,000 employees in 65 countries, 143 nationalities, 36.6 per cent of employees identifying as female and more than 1,600 as having a disability. It is over 75 years old, dedicates 66 per cent of its economic interest to philanthropy and targets net-zero by 2040.
Which institutions each programme reaches
| Programme | Institutions |
|---|---|
| Elite | Engineering graduates from across the country. The open route |
| Turbo | 46 premier institutes, including IIITs, NITs and select top private colleges |
| STAR | India's top 13 technical institutes |
| B School Program | Top business schools across India |
| Law School Program | National Law Universities and other law schools |
| CA Hiring | Through ICAI campus placements |
| WILP and SIM | Not tied to a named institution list. Open to BCA and B.Sc graduates, and to diploma holders, meeting the published criteria |
Wipro does not publish the list of the 46 institutes or of the top 13. A candidate outside them is not shut out of Wipro: Elite and WILP are the routes with no institution tier attached.
Two programmes come with a degree: WILP sponsors an M.Tech from a premier institution, SIM a B.Tech in Information Systems from an Institute of Eminence. Wipro names neither university.
Exam Centres
Wipro describes the WILP first stage as an 80-minute online assessment and the second as a 20-minute voice assessment. Both are online. Wipro publishes no centre list, no city list and no reporting instructions for either, and none for the business discussion or the pre-skilling training.
Elite, Turbo, STAR, the B School Program and the Law School Program recruit from named tiers of institution, so the drive comes to the campus. No assessment venue is published for any of them.
So treat the application site for the specific drive as the source for venue, timing and reporting instructions, and for a campus drive, the placement cell. Prepare the practical side for an online sitting: a quiet room, a working microphone for the voice assessment, a stable connection. Wipro publishes no proctoring rules, identity requirements or permitted-materials list; where those exist they are issued with the drive.
Important Dates
Wipro publishes no calendar for its early-career programmes. Drives open and close as Wipro needs them to, and the dates live on each drive's own application site rather than on the careers pages. Nothing here gives a registration, test or result date, because Wipro publishes none.
| What has a date | Where the date lives |
|---|---|
| A WILP cycle | The WILP application site, which names the cycle and the eligible year of graduation |
| Elite, Turbo, STAR | The drive's own application site when Wipro opens it, and the college placement cell |
| CA Hiring | The ICAI campus placement calendar |
| B School and Law School programmes | The institution's placement calendar |
| Any other role | Wipro's job search |
The date that governs eligibility is not a deadline but a year of graduation. Each WILP cycle names one, and the published cycle names 2025. A candidate from another year is not eligible for that cycle, with no relaxation published.
One timing rule catches people out: those who have participated in any of Wipro's selection processes in the last 3 months are not eligible. Sitting an Elite or Turbo process in January bars a WILP application in March.
Admit Card
Wipro issues no admit card or hall ticket for any early-career programme. Its published wording throughout is that eligible candidates will be invited to the 80-minute online assessment, and that candidates who clear it will be invited to the 20-minute voice assessment. The invitation, by email, is the access, and there is nothing to download.
So the email address on the registration form is the whole channel. Use one that will still work in six months and check the spam folder at each stage. Note also that a Letter of Intent is not an offer letter: Wipro lists them as separate stages with pre-skilling training in between.
Because everything arrives by email, so does fraud. Wipro's instruction: if you encounter any suspicious mail, advertisements, or persons who offer jobs at Wipro, please email us at helpdesk.recruitment@wipro.com. A Wipro assessment invitation never asks for money.
Result
Wipro publishes no scores, scorecards, merit lists or feedback reports for its early-career assessments. A candidate learns the result of a stage by whether the invitation to the next one arrives.
The WILP sequence is the only one published: clear the online assessment and you are invited to the 20-minute voice assessment, then called for a business discussion with the Wipro team, and candidates who clear the Business discussion will be provided with a Letter of Intent. Pre-skilling training follows, then the offer letter.
The thing to watch is the registered email. An offer that arrives outside that sequence, or that asks for money, goes to helpdesk.recruitment@wipro.com; complaints about unethical or unfair hiring practices go to the Ombuds Group at ombuds.person@wipro.com.
Cut Off
Wipro publishes no cut-off for any early-career assessment: no overall mark, no sectional mark, no percentile and no shortlisting ratio. Section-wise Wipro Elite or Wipro NTH cut-offs circulating elsewhere did not come from Wipro and carry no cycle date.
What Wipro does publish for WILP are eligibility floors, and a candidate who misses one is out before the assessment whatever they would have scored: 60 per cent or 6.0 CGPA in graduation, one backlog and only till the assessment stage, at most 3 years of gap before graduation and none during it, Core Mathematics as a graduation subject, and no Wipro selection process in the last 3 months.
For the other programmes there is no floor either. The filter is the institutional tier: 46 premier institutes for Turbo, the top 13 for STAR.
Preparation Tips
Check the eligibility first
WILP's rules are strict and all published: 60 per cent or 6.0 CGPA, no gap at all during graduation, graduation finished within 3 years, at most 3 years of gap before it, one backlog and only till the assessment stage, and Core Mathematics in the degree. Failing one of those, a month of aptitude practice buys nothing.
Do not apply to two Wipro routes inside three months
Those who have participated in any of Wipro's selection processes in the last 3 months are not eligible. An Elite process in January bars a WILP application in March, so pick the route deliberately.
Prepare for four skills in eighty minutes
Verbal, analytical, quantitative and written communication, with no topic list and no published split between them. Timed graduate aptitude practice across all four, at a pace that leaves no section for the end.
Practise writing
Written communication is named as one of the four things the assessment covers, which means clear English prose produced against a clock. Multiple-choice grammar drill does not prepare for that; writing short structured answers to time does.
Practise speaking
Twenty minutes, sat only by candidates who clear the written assessment, with its own stage in Wipro's sequence. Test the microphone, find a quiet room, and rehearse speaking clearly and continuously for several minutes.
Understand the commitment before the interview
A 60-month training agreement and INR 75,000 pro rata for leaving early, against a sponsored M.Tech and a rising stipend. That is a five-year decision made at twenty-one, so weigh it before the offer stage.
Know which programme you are eligible for
Turbo recruits from 46 premier institutes and STAR from the top 13. Outside those tiers, time spent preparing for either is wasted; Elite and WILP are the routes with no institution list.
Use the drive's own site, and guard the email address
Every stage arrives as an email invitation, with no hall ticket and no portal to check, so use an address that will still work in six months.
Sample Papers
No sample papers or previous year papers are available for any Wipro early-career assessment, and Wipro publishes no question counts, timings or marks to check one against.
The closest official guide is the WILP application site, which sets out each stage and the skills it tests.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there one Wipro campus test?
No. Wipro runs several named early-career programmes, each aimed at a different degree or tier of institution: Elite, Turbo, STAR, WILP, SIM, the B School Program, CA Hiring and the Law School Program. They are listed on Wipro's Early Careers page.
What is the Wipro test pattern?
Wipro publishes one, and only for WILP: an 80-minute online assessment covering verbal, analytical, quantitative and written communication, then a 20-minute voice assessment. For the other programmes there is no published pattern, and anything found elsewhere did not come from Wipro.
Is there negative marking?
Wipro publishes no negative marking rule, no question counts and no marks for any of its assessments.
What is WILP?
The Work Integrated Learning Program, running as WASE and WIMS. A BCA or B.Sc graduate joins as a Scholar Trainee, works full-time and reads for a fully sponsored M.Tech. Wipro says it pioneered the model in 1995.
Who is eligible for WILP?
Full-time BCA or B.Sc in Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, Statistics, Electronics or Physics, 60 per cent or 6.0 CGPA, and Core Mathematics as a subject. No part-time, correspondence or distance degrees. One backlog until the assessment stage. At most a 3-year gap between 10th and the start of graduation, and none during graduation, which must finish within three years.
Does Business Maths count as Core Mathematics?
No. Business Maths or Applied Maths will not be considered.
I attended a Wipro process recently. Can I apply again?
Not within three months.
What does WILP pay?
INR 15,000 a month in the first year plus 488 ESI and a joining bonus of Rs 75,000, then 17,000, 19,000 and 23,000, alongside a fully sponsored M.Tech.
Is there a bond?
Yes. A 60-month training agreement, and INR 75,000 on a pro rata basis for leaving before five years.
What is the difference between Elite, Turbo and STAR?
The institutions they reach. Elite takes engineering graduates from across the country, Turbo from 46 premier institutes including IIITs and NITs, and STAR from India's top 13 technical institutes, with fully sponsored higher education attached.
I have a diploma, not a degree. Is there a route?
Yes, the School of Infrastructure Management: a B.Tech in Information Systems from a university recognised as an Institute of Eminence, earned while working full-time at Wipro.
How do Chartered Accountants apply?
Through campus placements organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, not through Wipro directly.
What is the Wipro cut-off?
Wipro publishes none. The only floors it publishes are the WILP eligibility ones.
Do I get a scorecard or an admit card?
Neither. Each stage is an email invitation, and clearing one is signalled by the next invitation arriving.
Does it cost anything to apply?
No. Wipro publishes no application fee. A demand for money should go to helpdesk.recruitment@wipro.com.
