Which of the following is a typical characteristic of Dyslexia ?
Answer: B
A typical characteristic of dyslexia is difficulty in phonological processing.
Dyslexia is a specific learning disability in reading. Its core difficulty is phonological: recognising and manipulating the sounds of language and linking letters with sounds, which makes decoding words, spelling and fluent reading hard, despite normal intelligence.
Difficulty in physical coordination is associated with dyspraxia, and difficulty in spatial awareness with other conditions; creative problem solving is not a defining difficulty of dyslexia.
