Which surface contributes most of an aeroplane's lift curve slope?
Answer: A
The wing supplies the overwhelming majority, typically ninety per cent or more of the whole-aeroplane value, because its area and aspect ratio dwarf everything else. The horizontal tail adds a modest amount in proportion to its area and to the downwash factor at its station. The fuselage carries a little lift and mostly adds a destabilising moment. The vertical tail is symmetric and contributes no lift in symmetric flight at all.
