The answer is Measurement.
Taxonomy is the science of classification, especially of living things. In the same way, metrology is the science of measurement: units, standards and their accuracy.
The trap is to confuse metrology with meteorology, the study of the atmosphere and weather, which points to 'Atmosphere'. Environment and evolution belong to ecology and biology.
