Find the cost of fencing around a circular field of diameter 28 m at the rate of Rs.1.50 a meter?
Answer: B
Fencing follows the circumference, and the diameter is given directly.
\[ C = \pi d = \frac{22}{7} \times 28 = 88 \text{ m} \]
\[ \text{cost} = 88 \times 1.50 = \text{Rs. } 132 \]
Using \( 2\pi d \) - effectively treating 28 as the radius - would double the answer to Rs. 264.
