Which line contains the error?
import java.util.*;
public class Sample56
{
public static void main(String[] args)
{
List<String> fixed = Arrays.asList("a", "b");
assert fixed.size() == 2;
fixed.add("c");
System.out.println(fixed);
}
}
Answer: D
The assertion is true and harmless. The fault is the add: Arrays.asList returns a fixed-size view backed by the array, so adding throws UnsupportedOperationException. No assertion would have caught it, because the list really does have two elements at the point that was checked.
