An association rule which involves numeric attributes having implicit ordering among values is known as...............association rule.
Answer: D
It is a quantitative association rule.
In data mining, association rules over numeric attributes such as age or income, whose values have a natural ordering, are called quantitative association rules. The numeric values are discretised into ranges (for example age 30..39) and rules are mined over those ranges, as in age(30..39) and income(42K..48K) ⇒ buys(HDTV).
Multivalued, ordered and numeric association rules are not the standard terms. The other recognised categories are Boolean rules, over the presence or absence of items, and multilevel and multidimensional rules.
