Village Rockstars is an Assamese film.
Directed by Rima Das, Village Rockstars tells the story of a girl in a village in Assam who dreams of forming a rock band. It won the Best Feature Film award at the 65th National Film Awards in 2018, the first Assamese film to do so since 1988, and was India's entry to the Oscars that year.
It was made in Assamese, not Bengali, Marathi or Hindi.
