Biological Diversity Act was implemented in which year in India ?
Answer: B
The answer is 2002.
India enacted the Biological Diversity Act in 2002 to give effect to the Convention on Biological Diversity. It provides for the conservation of biodiversity, sustainable use of its components and fair sharing of the benefits from biological resources, through the National Biodiversity Authority, State Biodiversity Boards and local Biodiversity Management Committees.
Its provisions were brought into force in stages in 2003 and 2004, but 2002 is the year of the Act; 1998, 2000 and 2001 are wrong.
