Kausik pointing out to a lady, said, "she is the daughter of the woman who is the mother of the husband of my mother". Who is the lady to Kaushik ?

The lady is Kaushik's aunt.
Work from the inside out. The husband of Kaushik's mother is his father. The mother of his father is his paternal grandmother. The daughter of his paternal grandmother is his father's sister, his aunt.
The grandmother is the woman described in the middle of the chain, not the lady herself. A sister would have to be a daughter of Kaushik's mother, and 'Brother' cannot describe a lady at all.
