If X + Y means X is the daughter of Y; X - Y means X is the brother of Y; X % Y means X is the father of Y and X x Y means X is the sister of Y. Which of the following means I is the niece of J?
Answer: D
Correct answer: I x C + N - J
I × C makes I the sister of C; C + N makes C the daughter of N, so I too is N’s daughter; and N – J makes N the brother of J. A brother’s daughter is a niece, so I is the niece of J.
