There are six members L, H, K, I, J and M in a family. J is the brother of L's husband. M is the mother of J. H is the daughter of I and L and the grand-daughter of K. How is K related to J ?
Answer: B
K is J's father.
H is the daughter of I and L, so I and L are a couple. J is the brother of L's husband, so J is I's brother, and M, J's mother, is also I's mother. H is the granddaughter of K, so K belongs to the grandparent generation, the generation of M.
Of the options, only 'Father' fits that generation: K is M's husband, the father of I and J, which makes H his granddaughter. A brother, son or grandson of J would be in J's generation or below, and could not be H's grandparent.
