A is the son of B, whose mother is C. D is the husband of E, who is the granddaughter of C. If F is A's wife, then how is F's father-in-law related to D's daughter ?
Answer: B
F's father-in-law is the Grandfather of D's daughter.
F is A's wife, so her father-in-law is A's father, B (B is A's parent, and the question treats B as the father). C is B's mother. E is C's granddaughter, so E is the daughter of one of C's children; read as B's daughter, she is A's sister. D is E's husband, so D's daughter is E's daughter.
B is then the father of E and so the grandfather of E's daughter, who is D's daughter. 'Uncle' and 'Brother' are relations of the same or the next generation, and 'Sister' is a female relation, so none of them fits B, who is two generations above D's daughter.
