Who is the author of the book The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes?

It is Arthur Conan Doyle.
Holmes first appeared in A Study in Scarlet in 1887 and the short stories from 1891. Conan Doyle thought his historical novels the better work and resented the detective's popularity.
