Boolean algebra does not apply to the relation :
Answer: D
Boolean algebra does not apply to 0 - 1 = 1.
Boolean algebra defines only OR (written +), AND (written as multiplication) and NOT. There is no subtraction operation, so a relation written with a minus sign is not a Boolean relation at all.
The other three are valid Boolean OR relations: 0 + 0 = 0, 0 + 1 = 1, and 1 + 1 = 1. The last looks wrong by ordinary arithmetic, but in Boolean algebra it means 1 OR 1 = 1, which is correct; it is the classic trap the question sets.
