State whether the following is true or false.
Mineralogical and chemical analysis of a clay give the same information in different units.
Answer: C
Chemical analysis reports oxides and mineralogical analysis reports the minerals those oxides are combined into. Two clays with identical oxide analyses can contain quite different minerals and behave very differently.
