Which measure quantifies the torsional rigidity of a chassis?
Answer: B
Torsional rigidity is quoted in newton metres per degree, measured by applying a couple at one axle while restraining the other and measuring the resulting angle. Modern unitary cars achieve twenty to forty thousand newton metres per degree. The last option describes bending stiffness, which is the other principal structural measure. Reading the definition literally, rather than recalling a formula, is the reliable route through questions of this shape.
