Which system reduces rollover risk electronically?
Answer: C
Stability control detects the onset of the rapid steering and lateral acceleration that precedes a rollover and brakes individual wheels to reduce the lateral force. Its introduction produced a large measured reduction in single vehicle rollover crashes. Anti-lock braking and traction control address different aspects of vehicle control and do not act on rollover directly. A limit that survives making every external component ideal is an intrinsic one, and worth knowing for that reason.
